I've compiled a list of my ten favorite creative books. They range from non-fiction technique books to fun fiction novels written in an original voice. Take a peek below. These aren't just for kids. The age range for the books below varies.

    A look at how creativity can be stimulated. Lots of great examples and exercises. 
     

  2. Quotes That Will Change Your Life by Russ Kick
    A collection of quotes to inspiring, provoke thought and encourage soul searching goodness.
     

  3. Fox 8 by George Saunders
    A beautiful example of how to make a story unique by using a creative approach to storytelling.
     

  4. How To Be An Explorer of The World by Keri Smith
    This is just fun. Do it by yourself, with the kids or friends.
     

  5. Only The Animals by Ceridwen Dovey
    Intricate stories about people, conflict, and relationships told through the eyes and ears of animals.
     

  6. The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho
    An inspiring read about never giving up and following your passion.
     

  7. Steal Like An Artist by Austin Kleon
    This is a fun one to get you motivated to follow your own passions.
     

  8. Unstuck by Keith Yamashita & Sandra Spataro
    A clever little book with lots of inspiration and exciting layouts.
